Allison's Custom Jewelry,
104 East Mason Road, Sidney,
was started by Jon and Libby
Allison in their garage. Six years
later, they outgrew the garage
and moved to their present country location on Mason road.
The building that now houses Allison's Custom Jewelry is a
105 year old rebuilt barn with an addition to referred to as
their diamond mine. The walls of the mine are sparkling
quartz crystal and represents genuine diamonds, the stream
found in the mine depicts one of the ways diamonds are
mined.
Allison's custom jewelry specializes in quality GIA & EGL
certified diamonds, colored gemstones, 18 karat, 14 karat,
10 karat, platinum and sterling silver jewelry. Four GIA
trained employees are on staff full time to either help select
the diamond of your choice or assure customers the very
best in appraising services.
Jon Allison, founder of Allison's Custom Jewelry is very
pleased that both of his son's are involved in the business.
Duane "Red' Allison, Vice President and General Manager,
specializes in cutting and polishing of stones and stone
setting.
Dean Allison, Vice President, is in charge of the custom
casting end of the jewelry design.
Reds' wife, Cheri, is sales manager and manager of the
order department.
Also, Jon and Libby's daughter, Dana, works in the
bookkeeping department.
Allison's has an annual Open House, which is a kick-off of
their busy Christmas season. Then, closer to Christmas,
they have a Ladies Day, this is a special discount day for
women only. A week later, the men take their turn with Men's
Day and men only receive the discount.
Allison's also offers 15% off of each birthstone of the month,
and gives a 15% discount to all brides and grooms for their
bridal party gifts.
